The winner of the Sustainable Design Award is the Latvian design company Foldlife. All 14 applicants showed true originality and creativity; however, as one of the members of the jury Nick Rawcliffe (Rawstudio) concluded, the tent solution was “well designed” and the idea of “could really work”. It was considered to be the most appropriate to the needs of British Council Latvia, bearing in mind the values of sustainability and openness as well as experience. Visit our tent and join the TRASH ART workshop, led by Nick Rawcliffe, in Positivus 2010 in Salacgrīva (from July 16th to 17th).
